What is QuikDB?
QuikDB is a cloud infrastructure platform. Builders use QuikDB Compute to deploy applications and managed services. Eligible operators use the QuikDB CLI and dashboard to connect computers or servers to the node network.
Is QuikDB a personal file-storage service?
No. QuikDB is for application infrastructure. It is not a replacement for Google Drive, Dropbox or a personal document editor.
How do I deploy an application?
Open QuikDB Compute, connect GitHub, choose a repository and branch, review the detected build settings and deploy. Follow Deploying Your App.
Does QuikDB support every framework automatically?
No universal zero-configuration promise is made. QuikDB can honour an application-owned Dockerfile and detect settings for supported projects, but you must review the branch, service directory, build command, start command, port and environment variables. Unsupported configurations fail truthfully instead of being presented as converted applications.
What is a node?
A node is an eligible computer or server registered with QuikDB. It reports its health and availability so the control plane can determine whether it qualifies for work.
How do I connect a node?
Install the QuikDB CLI, run quikdb device register, check
quikdb device status, then install the auto-start service if the machine should reconnect after
a restart.
Does registering a node guarantee workloads or earnings?
No. Registration alone guarantees neither. Workload placement and any payment depend on current programme eligibility, capacity, reliability, demand and published terms in the operator dashboard.
Can I add a database?
Yes. QuikDB offers paid managed PostgreSQL for owned Compute deployments. Read Managed PostgreSQL for the current workflow and limits.
Can I use my own domain?
QuikDB currently onboards custom domains for selected supported users; public self-service will open later. A plan allowance does not automatically enable onboarding. Contact QuikDB support with the deployment and hostname. Use only the exact DNS record QuikDB supplies—do not look for or point DNS at a container, tunnel, replica, IP address or other apparent origin. QuikDB manages routing and HTTPS for an approved hostname. Read Custom Domains for the current process.
Can an AI agent access my account?
Only through the current bounded Agent Access pilot with a pre-registered client, explicit consent, short-lived access and approved read operations. A normal dashboard or CLI login is not an agent credential. Agent Access does not expose secrets or unrestricted database actions. Read AI Assistants.
What network size can QuikDB publicly verify?
The last approved public snapshot records 143 registered devices and 135+ active nodes. QuikDB does not publish an unsupported country count or guaranteed cloud-savings percentage.
How do I get help?
Search QuikDB Help or email cs@quikdb.net. Include the affected page or product, a safe reference, the step that failed and the first relevant error line. Never send passwords, one-time codes, tokens, private keys, database URLs or complete environment files.
