Install the QuikDB CLI
Install the QuikDB CLI when you need to connect and manage a computer or server as a QuikDB node.
Linux or macOS
curl -fsSL https://docs.quikdb.com/install/install.sh | bash
Windows PowerShell
iwr -useb https://docs.quikdb.com/install/windows/install.ps1 | iex
Reopen the terminal if the installer changes your PATH, then verify the binary:
quikdb --version
Connect the device
quikdb device register
quikdb device status
Install the platform-specific auto-start service if the device should reconnect after a restart:
quikdb service install
quikdb service status
QuikDB uses LaunchAgent on macOS, a systemd user service on Linux and Task Scheduler on Windows.
The local status page is available at http://localhost:4222 on the connected device.
Registration does not guarantee workload placement or earnings. Current programme eligibility, capacity and reliability rules still apply.
Update or remove the CLI
quikdb update --check
quikdb update
quikdb uninstall --dry-run
quikdb uninstall
Read the update guide, uninstall guide and CLI reference for details.
If installation or registration fails, search QuikDB Help or email cs@quikdb.net.
