Managed PostgreSQL

QuikDB Managed PostgreSQL is a paid database service for applications you own in QuikDB Compute.

Current workflow

1. Open Databases in Compute.
2. Choose Create database and review the exact price and service limits.
3. Complete checkout.
4. Open the database detail page after provisioning.
5. Connect an owned deployment.
6. Redeploy that application so it receives the managed QUIKDB_CLOUD_DB_URL value.

The connection value is owner-scoped and is supplied to the selected application through QuikDB. Do not copy it into source control, support chat or a public issue.

Current protection

The paid MVP includes QuikDB-owned provisioning, protected backups, billing records, access grants and retained deletion. Disconnecting an application removes its managed connection on the next deployment without deleting the database.

Current limits

Restore to a new database, customer export, per-application credentials and staged credential rotation are later hardening work. Do not treat those operations as available until Compute shows them in the live database workflow.
